Our Story

We have been in business continuously since 1981. The restaurant is still run by the original owner-operator and his beautiful wife. We are open seven days a week, 7 a.m.- 2 p.m. except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. We are the oldest originally owned dedicated breakfast/lunch restaurant at Lake Tahoe. We have never offered dinner. We have an ice cream store out back open June-Sept. We offer patio dining in the summer months. While we do not take reservations, we have a call ahead policy. Call us before you leave your home and we'll put your name on our wait list. Just check in when you arrive and your wait will be minimal.


The Details

We try to meet all dietary needs. We DO NOT charge extra for egg whites or like substitutions. If we can help you stick to your eating habits everyone wins. We make our hollandaise from scratch. We offer real maple syrup, fresh squeezed orange juice and have killer Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. All the baking is done on the premises. We make our refried beans, and boil red potatoes every morning. We smoke our fish, and make our own gravy for biscuits and gravy. We have vegetarian options and use local and organic produce when available.
